Bowling Green Together

Bowling Green Together is a by and for BAME majority-led community organisation in Pollokshields (South Glasgow) created and formed by local residents with a vested interest in our community's health. Bowling Green Together was created in 2022 through a grassroots campaign led by local residents to keep Pollokshield's community spaces engaged, inclusive, and healthy. Bowling Green Together has been a community long before it was an organisation.  Now with intentionality we are growing more resilient, healthy, and empowered together.  We build from the strength of our community's diversity. Providing a space and community for often excluded and marginalised populations to come together. Together we are learning how to think globally while acting locally.  It is our intention to build access, opportunity, partnership, and extend community through action and participation.
